Since graduating with honours from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1991, Dr. Ihab Matta has become one of the most knowledgeable and leading edge physicians offering cosmetic, nutritional, executive and preventive health care services. Moving to Brampton in 1993, he started a medical practice and subsequently opened the Dr. Matta Cosmetic and Laser Clinic at Trinity Common. He has guest lectured at the University of Toronto, Peel Memorial Hospital and has presented multiple times at the annual College of Family Physicians Convention. He has been invited to write articles to medical journals including the Canadian Journal of Diagnosis as well as being a health and beauty editor to both Revive and Vie magazines.

Dr. Matta has been featured on the Q107 and 102.1 the Edge radio stations as well as CP24, Global and local Television. He is frequently sought out by media as a knowledgeable and credible source for cosmetic and medical issues. He has contributed to National newspapers as well as local media in the Brampton Guardian. In addition to teaching physicians about weight loss and nutritional medicine, Dr. Matta trains physicians in numerous cosmetic and medical procedures including Botox Cosmetic®, Botox®, Fraxel®, Tripollar Radiofrequency treatment, Hyaluronic Acid Fillers such as Juvederm® and Restylane®, Laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation and more. He is one of a few physicians selected to administer treatments to industry personnel.

Dr. Matta has presented new and novel approaches at the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine conference as well as the Eastern Canada Nurses conference and is considered a key opinion leader, trainer and advisor for Medicis and Allergan, Pollogen and Invasix. Despite being a leader in his field he is continually upgrading his skills, technology and knowledge base and regularly attends continuing education.
